Mercedes (also known as “Sadie”) shares her home with Connie & Mike Lentz, a smooth fox terrier named Gabe and a giant schnauzer called Gunter.  She is the total princess and tells the boys that she is in charge.

Currently, Sadie is being trained in agility by Connie’s granddaughter, Brianna.  They have entered NADAC trials and are also planning to compete in AKC agility events. Sadie has lots of natural hunting instincts and is also being shown in earthdog events and has earned her Junior Earthdog Title.  Her desire to hunt sometimes gets her in trouble in the agility ring since she can get distracted if she thinks there may be a mouse to chase.
