Facility Rental Policy
 Effective: January 1, 2012 and may change without notice--please contact BVTC to confirm
 

Our facilities are available for hourly and daily rental based on availability.  Training times and locations must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance through the Bella Vista Training Center.  Classes and BVTC events are given first priority for all space utilization and BVTC maintains the right to accept or reject any proposed requests.

General Requirements:

• Dogs must be under control at all times.
• Individuals must clean up after the dog (both inside & outdoors).
• No Smoking in any building.
• Courtesy must be displayed to all building tenants in regards to both noise and parking.
• All lights and utilities must be set as instructed.
• Facility &/or equipment issues must be reported immediately to BVTC at 717-515-5146.
• Any damage to equipment or property beyond normal usage wear is the responsibility of the individual renting the space.
• BVTC does not include spectators in the rental fee charges; however, individuals who assist in any capacity of the training are considered participants and must comply with the rental charges.

Lewisberry Indoor Arena:

Daily Rental Fee (up to 12 hours)

$325--no heat & no equipment

$450 --heat but no equipment

$400 --no heat & equipment

$525 --heat & equipment

Use of the kitchen area & first floor of kennel building--$30 per day

Use of upstairs meeting room/bedroom--$70 per day/night

 Use of Bed & Breakfast room--$75 per night

 Hourly Rental Fees:

$40 per hour with heat

$22 per hour without heat

$20 per 30 minutes with heat

$11 per 30 minutes without heat

Minimum rental time is 30 minutes. 

Hourly rental fees include the use of all obedience &/or agility equipment.  Obedience & agility equipment must be returned to the course or storage location unless other instructions are provided.  

Hourly rental is for up to 2 individuals present.  If more than 2 individuals are present, there is an additional fee of $5 per hour for each additional person.  This rate does not apply to events or workshops.  Hourly rental fee is for individuals wishing to rent the facility to train their personal dogs.  Private lessons are only permitted if pre-approved by BVTC.

Lewisberry Outdoor Arena

Daily Rental Fee (10 Hours)

$125 -- no equipment

$225 --with equipment

·        Use of Outdoor Arena Lights flat fee of $40 per day

 Hourly Rental Fees:

$22 per hour

$11 per 30 minutes

$5.50 per 15 minutes

Minimum rental time is 30 minutes. 

*Use of either Lewisberry facility with 40 or more people per day will require the renter to provide an on-site portable toilet.  Restroom facility on site cannot handle more than 40 people per day.  BVTC can make the arrangements for this item upon request.

Wellsville Indoor Locations

For events:

·        $300 per day for use of entire facility (both front & rear buildings)

·        $200 per day for use of one building & bathroom facilities

For private training sessions:

·        Non-heated areas:  $20 per hour for up to 2 people-$5 charge for each additional person

·        Heated areas:  $30 per hour for up to 2 people-$5 charge for each additional person

 Instructor Privileges:

Instructors are permitted to use the training areas for 1 hour per week for each class session taught. For example, if an instructor teaches 2 classes each week, 2 hours of training space rental time are available each week for the instructor’s use.  Instructors may accumulate unused training space rental hours for a period of up to sixty (60) days.  These hours are not transferable to other individuals or to other groups.

Instructors must limit their use to the training of their own dog(s).  These sessions cannot be utilized for private or group lessons.  Instructors may bring 1 guest to the training session for no added cost.  Additional individuals are required to pay the $5 per hour rental fee.

Flyball Teams:

BVTC is proud to be the training location for several local flyball teams.  Each team is independent of the BVTC and may charge its members and guests additional fees; however, it must be made clear to the individuals that these fees are from the Team and not from BVTC.  BVTC does not own, maintain, or assume any liability/responsibility for the flyball equipment.

Space rental charges for the team’s practice are the same as listed above under “Fees”.   If a BVTC instructor participates in the Team’s sessions the rules listed under “Instructor Privileges” apply.

As with all rental space agreements, BVTC does not include spectators in the rental fee charges.  Please note that individuals who assist in any capacity of the training are considered participants and must comply with the rental charges.
