Experience:

Rick has always enjoyed dogs. He got interested in training after he met Deb (wife) and helped her with her dog Seacret.

Rick has a Golden Retriever, Chance. Rick trained Chance the beginning obedience competition routine. Rick and Chance passed the tests for the Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog International. Although health problems have an impact on his life Chance has fun and enjoys working and playing with Rick.  They have visited hospitals and nursing homes. 

Rick takes an active part in Chance’s health by working with his holistic vet and studying nutrition.  He also completed a natural health and complementary healing course.  On a monthly basis Rick visits the York SPCA and shares his nutrition knowledge with the public.  Rick also shares his nutrition and holistic healing information with Bella Vista students.

Rick and Chance have also trained in agility and tracking. They compete in Rally Obedience.
